The workarounds suggested by Flock staff do not work.

Damn this error, damn it to fiery burning hell!

    Flock on.

Mike at flock contacted me in my email as a result of my posts in the Flock forum, or a support request, or some such, and suggested that I disable all add-ons, or extensions as us dinosaurs like to call them, and so I did, and lo and behold, it didn’t stop the problem.

They are working on it, so I’m told, but this problem has been reported for many months now, easily findable reports at various places on the web, and it’s the same error, a message about configuring your wordpress.com account.

I’ve checked the flock.bugzilla.com site, a site which, when you search for something it doesn’t find, reports “Zarro Boogs” instead of “Zero Bugs”. I don’t find that particularly amusing. The error doesn’t seem to be in the bug reporting system, in addition to not being in the list of known issues, despite it being reported months ago in the flock support forums.

When I click “submit comment” and view the blog the message will appear again so there will be two of these orange bars near the top of the screen. Keep doing this and the entire screen below the tab bar will be fill with this needless message.
