I’d love to hear from anyone that has succeeded in running Hipihi on any language version of Windows other that Chinese. I assume it works in a normal manner on Chinese Windows.
I’m looking for stories of success with no troubles, success after a struggle and what you did to get it to work, or stories of failures and what you tried before you decided to stop the effort.

hi, Sue. HiPiHi cannot run smoothly on non-Chinese windows system because of the configuration files contains some Chinese simple words. that means, the non-Chinese windows system without east-asian language package can’t recognize the configuration files. The hipihi technical team now is dealing with this problem. Keep patient and thanks for your attention.

No problem, my computer didn’t have any real problem with getting Hipihi to run, I had some trouble, but the problem that I, as distinct from my computer, had, was in finding and following the directions properly.
There are bound to be other problems that other people have had not related to the language settings, and while there is probably a good bunch of discussion of such problems in the Hipihi forums, there isn’t much available in languages other than Chinese. Hence the search for tales of trouble and success. Plus of course I want to get comments in my blog.

There’s some folks posting in the IdeaShape bug report forum that might benefit from some attention from Zoloe. TonyB is one.
